I went to HP's website to obtain what I hoped to be the "Full Feature Software and Drivers" like in the older times. I removed her installed printer from Devices and Printers (not from Add/Remove Programs/Software)

I disregarded her setup and decided to install the Driver and Software from scratch. I set the IP Addressing mode to Static (IPV4). I decided to standardize the setup as we do for printers: Static IP, Disable IPV6, did some initial Ping testing (1-6ms delay, no packets loss etc) She installed the printer herself and connected it to the LAN via Wifi and followed setup instructions that came with the paper - can print successfully but could not Scan to Computer.

In the case of paper jams, all the sheet rollers are easily accessible through a panel in the back, and you can completely remove the input trays in case paper gets jammed in the back, near the input.A client purchased a HP Officejet Pro 7740 to replace an older model Officejet Pro printer. It's easy to access them, though, but the printer needs to be turned on. Likewise, the printer yields many pages, so you don't need to frequently replace its cartridges. However, the output tray only holds 75 sheets, so you'll need to get your print jobs instead of leaving them there when they're done.

The printer has two paper trays with a total capacity of 500 sheets, so you don't need to spend time fiddling with paper refills often. The printer's display also shows detailed videos explaining how to perform other maintenance tasks, like replacing the cartridges and clearing paper jams. If you have the same unit and are experiencing rapidly deteriorating print quality, let us know in the comments below! We weren't able to properly print even after running all the maintenance tasks and needed to purchase a new unit as a result. That said, we put our unit into storage where it went unused for a little more than a year and a half, and after putting it through some more tests, we found that the black printhead clogged. If you experience decreased print quality, you can run the built-in printhead cleaning and printhead alignment tasks to help restore it to its original state. The HP OfficeJet 7740 has typical maintenance tasks you can expect from an inkjet.
